School performance is based on student standardized test scores, which show whether students are performing at grade level in reading, math, science and writing. A school is considered high performing if it meets or exceeds the state average.

The Colorado Growth Model measures student progress from one year to the next in the context of a student’s academic peers. High growth is above the 50th percentile for median student growth.

How do I get my child into the school I choose?

Policies vary from district to district, but generally an application is available from the school and must be submitted to the school to which the family is applying. Below is a list of websites with more specific information.
